COLORING PAGES!!!
One thing that I accidently found on the net, while I was looking for images to use my Copic Markers on, are "Coloring Pages". There are TONS of them. The butterflies above are one that I found online. I use them to decorate the front of my cards. If you don't have a stamp you can print out any coloring page.
To save the photo of the image just right click on your mouse, and click on "Save as". If you have imaging, or photo, software then you can change it to the exact size that you need.
Here is a list of websites that have free coloring pages (I'm adding new ones as I find them):
- http://www.freeprintablecoloringpages.net/category/Illuminated_Numbers (if you need numbers for a birthday card (for example) then check this site. They also have a lot of categories on the left side of screen to see more)
http://www.artistshelpingchildren.org/coloringprintouts.html (on the right side, the pages are listed A-Z)NEW 4/16/10 (Tons of pages, but they are links to other pages, not within the same website)
http://www.supercoloring.com/ (14,600 images, great website)
http://www.coloringbookfun.com/ (8,754 images, another great website)
http://www.my-coloring-pages.com/ (The categories are just under their banner at top of page, they are Alphabets, Animals, Bible, Disney, Fantasy, For boys, For girls, Holidays, Nature and Sesame St)
http://www.disneycoloringpages.org/ (They have more than just Disney coloring pages)
http://disney.go.com/magicartist/coloring/ (Disney Characters)
http://www.coloringcastle.com/ New 10/16/11
LOOKING FOR MARKERS?
If you don't have Copic Markers because they are expensive what I did was go on ebay and did a search for them. I paid $33.00 for a set of 12 named "Primary Colors". Then I occasionally bought 1 here and there to complete sme of the colors. I knew I was going to use green a lot (for flowers and leaves and grass) so I have 4 of them from light to dark. I have 3 pinks, 2 lilac/purples, 3 yellows, 3 browns, 5 blues etc.
WHERE ELSE CAN YOU FIND THEM?
You can now find them at Hobby Lobby for 6.29. They are on sale a lot. They are in the art dept by the "art markers". When looking at the sales ad look at that dept. You can also use the 40% off coupon when available. Archiver's also sells them. They have a select number of stores.
A comment was left saying that DickBlick.com also sells markers. I don't know to many details but you can try there too.,
HAPPY COLORING!
Heather

Copic are too expensive so I went on line to Dick Blick and bought their set of 96. They are the same as Copic, only cheaper.
ReplyDeleteGood Idea!
ReplyDeletethank you for your collection i think my site might be in this category.
ReplyDeleteI had no idea there were so many places for coloring pages. And the markers -- I've always thought they were a little beyond me. But I see that I don't really need a set of 100 or something. Thanks!
